I don't know how much luck you will have with this routing. Since you can only use Skyteam awards, you'd probably end up flying:

LAX-ATL-EZE-ATL-AMS-CPT-AMS-BOM-AMS-SIN-ICN-SYD-ICN-CDG-PPT-CDG-ATL-LAX. (WAG, of course on routing) Or if you're lucky, and AF is still running it, you'll get PPT-LAX direct.

This a pretty grueling routing, if you can even find any space. In 5 years of looking, I've only found a CPT award once. Usually I have to fly into JNB and pay for a cheap connecting flight. And all the awards I've used were booked with NWA, too. I think DL is stingier, but haven't booked a RTW with them yet.

It would be so much nicer if you could fly MH for the EZE-CPT route (or do they only do EZE-JNB?).

When I did my RTW trip, most of my US-Asia-Australia legs had to be done on KE, and routed through ICN. I like KE, but those connections add a lot of miles. And I only like lots of miles when I earn them.
