I would avoid all the hassles of connecting in Bombay form an international to domestic. It is a real tiring thing to connect domestically in India.And I would never fly United. Much better choices out there.

I would suggest you fly Emirates,Qatar airways and a distant 3rd choice in Lufthansa. And if you want to change your trip date for any reason later on--it is easier with Emirates/Qatar air.Especially if you are flying to Hyd--these 2 are much better options. Hyd has become a tech center now for US companies and lot of US folks fly there now regularly. Lufthansa customer service and inflight entertainments are pathetic.And I would fly Air India only if it was the only airline available and a gun pointed to my head!!
