I have said it many times before - WBI in its current form is far too cumbersome to be used as a primary screening technology. I am completely against its use in this environment due to the additional time it adds.

As long as the WTMD has been in existence, and as long as it has been missing all those items that the WBI will now catch, why hasn't there ever been an item that has gotten through security in the USA, that has brought down an aircraft?
