Keep in mind crediting anything to Emirates won't help you at all with UA. I would credit to UA and you will probably be able to get 1p status if you take 3 trips a year no problem. This will give you lounge access, 100% RDM bonus, and UDU when traveling in the states and baggage allowance. Crediting to Emirates won't get you nearly the perks.
