A look at this chart regarding Katla, the volcano which has a historical precedent to erupt after Eyjafjallajökull is enough to show that we are not out of the woods yet.

Basically what this chart shows is that ground tremors around Katla have increased significantly in the last 24 hours. A very bad sign that the volcano may be waking up.
I would say if you have an opportunity to get out or at least get further south, go for it. Even without the ash, disruptions are going to take quite a while to sort themselves out.
