Just received a call from front desk apologizing (again) and saying that they'll have me in the suite tomorrow. Don't know if they're planning to toss the current occupant or are just overly optimistic about ash dispersion. Regardless, I'll give them half credit for the effort.
Update: Napping yesterday afternoon and the phone rang around 3:00 p.m. "Dr. HFH, this is ____ at the front desk. I'm terribly sorry...." I think, OK, can't say that I'm terribly surprised, not their fault all this ash stuff and the resulting problems. I appreciate their thoroughness. She continued: "... I'm terribly sorry to have disturbed you. Your suite is ready now, and if you will let me know when you are ready to move, we'll send someone up to assist you. Would you like assistance with packing?" ^^^
