Could also depend on where in the world you are staying. I don't believe you can get the same kind of service we got in Vietnam and/or Cambodia in so many other places around the world, as it's the staff (in my opinion) who makes the service a hit or miss.

Still, that said, a certain level of service should be expected at any Sofitel anywhere in the world...

All the little things we were given were great, but could have been with out to be honest, but smiley and genuinely happy people around you is priceless ^
