I was a BA Gold for years and gave up flying them cold due to the LHR connection after the kneejerk reaction that BAA (the UK airport management) had in August 2006. I loved flying BA, but the hassle of transiting the UK was no longer worth it.

Sad to see it hasn't improved at all.
