Preface: Well it has been a while since I did one of these. In Oxnard for Ventura meeting tomorrow.

Status: Diamond.

Rate: I had booked the HGI Oxnard which stayed at twice before. This showed when I rechecked rates. A little higher but worth the try.

Transportation: Rented a car at SBA.

Parking: Lots of it and free.

Check-in: It was obvious entering the lot the hotel was new. This is the third night. Efficient check-in to larger studio suite.

Perks: The standard.

Room: I was thinking about comparables. The Starwood Nines in Portland, OR with a slight touch of W Hong Kong. That is saying alot for a Homewood Suites. Everything about the room is higher end. Pretty nice.

Bathroom: Nice also. No tub just shower.

Internet: Comp and wired is pretty fast versus the HGI.

Negatives: The hot water was only slightly slightly warm. It is being fixed.

Closing: Without doubt I would stay here again. I have been to most of the brand props in the area. This is the nicest without doubt. It would be at least in terms of decor impossible for this place to disappoint. I will return.
