The Hindenburg held 36 passengers and 61 crew. It was 803 feet long and 130 feet in diameter. By comparison, an A380 is 240 feet long and 79 feet high, and holds 450 or more people.
In other words, there are certain practicalities that would need to be addressed for an airship.
