Yes, as far as I'm aware it will still be open. Haven't heard any more of plans to close it. As others have said, work was done a few months ago to reduce the size of the F lounge and new furniture has been added - well new to LGW anyway!! Personally I've not seen the new furniture but I understand it's very similar to that found in the T5 Galleries lounge.
There is no longer a Terraces lounge on the 3rd floor and the one on the 4th floor was made a little larger by removing some of the space from the F lounge. Some have said it's darker as a result, though if you find that to be the case you could always go to the regular Terraces. I actually prefer that to the F Lounge as it's so light and airy and has a great view over the airfield.
