My parents enjoyed a unplanned five days luxury stay in Santiago Chile after their cruise compliments of flight and trip delay insurance and acts of God this March. Dad paid for his ticket and mom's were from my Skymiles.

Check whether your insurance covers these "A of G"

BTW their insurer was www.accessamerica.com.
