And I just googled the number and saw it's Paris>Marseille, which makes me think that the train will already be parked on the platform as opposed to arriving on the platform, so that should make life a bit easier as well. You don't need to allow that much time if you already have your tickets, and there are no comfortable INDOOR places to sit except the cafes (the one closest to your train was restaurant/closed for remodeling last week). The "waiting room" appears to be an uncomfortable hangout for the homeless.
