Until last month, it was my job to secure hotels for these people! We've never had any issues with getting the schedule-changed guests into hotel rooms.

There will be no voucher available to issue until the day the hotel is needed - in fact WS will not even know the hotel until the morning of.

The WS hotel provider gaurantees the airline will have a set number of rooms each night in YYZ, but the actual hotels are not confirmed until that morning.

The voucher can only be printed by SABRE in the connecting city. So let your friend know to see an agent on arrival in YYZ.
