I agree with you on the above, but the OP is not going to see much of it, since he's connecting.
Fortunately, lately, I'm in LIS only twice a year at most but last time in Nov airside was as crowded and as under construction and worn out as usual. Schengen portion that was. OPO is miles away from this scenario.
I know the extension was done in the non Schengen portion so that may be our difference of opinion as I haven't been there since Switzerland became Schengen.


The second lounge could it be the Blue Lounge? Never been there, so I cannot help here.
