AF commercial instructions for TA

Considering the situation due to the volcanic cloud spreading towards north of the France, Air France has set up specific instructions for customers ticketed to travel to/from/via CDG/ ORY/LIL between 15 and 20 apr 2010.

A - Rebooking :

A.1 : Change of travel dates:

Customers may change flights/dates for travel. All penalties/change fees may be waived, even if required by the fare basis.

The following conditions apply:

One outbound and one inbound flight change is permitted free of charge.

Re-booking is permitted in the same cabin until april 30 included.

Re-booking is permetted on alternate flights/dates, offering availability in the ticketed booking class or upper classes with fare difference payment until march 26, 2011. please refer to next paragraph for seasonal pricing.

Re-booking/re-issue must be done by the end of the day on thursday, 22apr10

travel must remain on AF/KL/DL marketed flights

A.2 : Change of destination :

Customers may use the full value of their existing tickets towards the purchase of new tickets at the same or a higher AF/KL/DL fare.

Outbound travel should occur no later than march 26, 2011.

The following conditions apply

Collect the fare difference if the new fare is higher

Re-booking/re-issue must be done by the end of the day on thursday, 22apr10

No residual value MPD may be issued

A.3 : Cases of high / low season :

. if the customer travels in high season :

..the originaL booking class is available in high season, collect the fare difference between the original fare and the new applicable high season fare

..the original booking class is not available, collect the fare difference between the original low season fare and the new applicable high season fare corresponding to the new booking class

. If the customers holds a ticket in high season and wishes to travel in low season, issue a non refundable MPD valid on AF/KL

B - Refund

Customers ticketed on any cancelled or delayed flight (more than 5 hours) may request a full refund via their original booking source.

Please note that customers will not be entitles to any compensation as this is a -force majeur- situation.
