No. The pax who travels is the only one who can earn the miles. It is not possible (without breaking the law) for this to happen.

The best that can be done is for your friend to get the miles into THAI ROP and make you an award nominee, and redeem the miles in your name. As noted, it'll be worth an economy return in Y BKK-HKT (or similar).

I think maybe ASIANA allow families to 'pool' miles, but then they'll not be with THAI.....no quick/easy way to do this.... My family has 40k miles stuck in 8-10k amounts - basically useless to me and them.
