After we returned to Hong Kong, we toke these exact same 100 CNY bills to the Hong Kong HSBC customer service manager, a vice president at this HSBC headquarter in Hong Kong Central. We asked them to properly examine these bills. Yes, these bills are real and authentic CNY bills.

The HSBC manager told us, the bill counting machine in the Holiday Inn Guangzhou to examine if the bill is fake is total incorrect and totally non-scientific. The actions by the Chinese is exceptionally ignorant.
