Reading this thread, I am so amazed that my JFK-ICN-PVG-ICN-JFK award flights in OZ F, booked many months ago, have survived intact the F cuts and schedule changes (other than minor timing differences). ^
My sister was not so lucky. She was to fly in F all the way ORD-ICN-PVG, but the dropping of F ORD-ICN meant she had to reroute:
ORD-LAX (UA domestic F, ugh)
LAX-ICN (OZ F)
ICN-PVG (OZ C)
which is really much less ideal, plus adds a delayed arrival at PVG of about 12h.
My mom and dad were also going to fly ORD-ICN-PVG in F, but they decided to just fly UA (in paid F, the poor suckers) ORD-PVG nonstop "because it is easier."

Despite my beseeching them to at least try to route NH ORD-NRT-PVG, they have decided to fly UA. This was probably the most depressing family news I've heard all year.
