I got through to the 801 number yesterday but I left the call on hold for 91 minutes and they never answered. I had to go do some things so I hung up. Guess I will just wait a few days.

Its frustrating though. Trying to change YYZ-ORD segment of my reward from ATH-YYZ-ORD. I have wife on 6pm flight and I'm on 830pm since only one seat was available. Now second seat is open on 600pm but I can't get through to CO.

I did get through to CO on wed. but they insisted that the flight didn't exist. After some investigation they finally told me that wife was on AC 511 which has been cancelled and replaced with AC 8649 operated by Jazz. CO says AC is having technical difficulties and that the Jazz flights are not showing in there system but they are showing on continental.com They told me AC is working on it and I should call back in a couple days. Now of course I can't get through.

Its Only YYZ-ORD so not terribly concerned but annoyed that I can't do this change online when I can see the flight available online, CO agents can't get it to work and ask me to call back later, and now I can't get through.

I understand there is mass chaos in Europe. Though from my previous experience it seems that CO is staffed so that they can not even handle the slightest blip in call volume. I think if all airlines spent more money developing the web technology so we could do things ourselves, it would help everybody in the long run.
