Privacy is quite good at the Rosewood - room entrances are not right together, so you will really get a feeling of privacy within your suite.

There's nothing to stop anyone from walking up the beach in front of your room, but they will most likely be walking down by the water, not in-between your own beach umbrella and lounges and the back of your suite. It's not the widest beach in the world, but I think it's wide enough so that this won't be a real factor.
