I will be in Brussels for a 3-day weekend and I plan to make day trips to Gent and Brugge. I will be staying by Bruxelles-Luxembourg train station. While I understand it's a bit far from the city center, I don't mind walking or taking the metro or train, etc.

So, looking the rail web site, I can't determine what would be the best deal for tickets or passes (or whatever that I should get). http://www.b-rail.be/nat/E/tarifs/

For sure, I will need a round trip from BRU airport to the Bruxelles-Luxembourg train station. If I do Brussels on Day 1, Brugge on Day 2 and Gent on day 3, what would be the best option(s) for rail cards, passes or fare? Also, taking into account the hotel is not near the central station.
