Be aware that the majority of consolidator fares are not eligible for points on most programs. The solution is to find out what fare code the consolidator is using, then check on the airline website (actually any alliance website usually works) for the points accrual for that fare class. AF has a number of very popular consolidator fares that do not accrue on either SM or FB. On some routes those are more prevalent than others.
