My mother in-law is coming to visit us in Manchester when the weather is nice this summer and her schedule allows. Looking to depart OMA with no flexibility in departure city (June 25th or late until the beginning of August) however arrival city is much easier as the FR and EZY flights are cheap and we can pick her up anywhere.

Looked at LON and it was more expensive almost across the board than MAN for the last week of June and the first week of July. I know its a rediculous time to travel, but who doesn't want to visit Europe in the summer? Hoping for some "buy now" stupidly cheap last minute offers and failing miserably. Looking at extensive intra-US routing (OMA-NYC/ORD/IAD), then NYC/ORD/IAD-MAN/LON/PAR/ROM/FRA/DUB/AMS) and booking separates to save cash, but at the end of the day, will it be worth it to save $100 off a $1200 ticket for the complex routing and switching? Likely not.

Any help on this is appreciated, we are flexible on desitination, departure date (5 week window) and she has an insignificant amount of CO, AA, and UA miles so airline preference is null.
