I'm having a flight ahead on Monday which looks totally full ( F0 A0 C0 D0 Z0 J0 R0 Y0 B0 M0 H0 U0 G0 Q0 K0 V0 L0 W0 T0 P0 ) and most probably is heavily overbooked from what I can tell.

Now, in case it doesn't get cancelled because of vulcano ashes (Flight is LX189 PVG-ZRH still looks pretty good I guess...) whats the best approach regarding I'm dealing with LX? As I'm booked in gruesame cattleclass (Aka Economy) I guess I would settle for as low as any way to ZRH in Business class plus paid hotel/meals/transport..not asking for cash at all here (of course if they offer won't mind)

I'm absolutely in no need to rush home, so I can stay in PVG as long as LX wants to pay me a decent hotel.. (I've checked other flights from PVG to ZRH or other close destinations, everything looks extremely full for Monday and Tuesday..)

Any chance I should call LX (in Switzerland?) to tell them in advance? Or just show up at the airport counter (better earlier or later? As the flight is early in the morning, I doubt I can show up extremely early anyway.. 2 hours will do?)

Will they have LX staff there? Because I'm pretty sure local groundstaff won't really understand what I'll ask them or simply don't care and later IDB.. (tried with other flights going out from China before, they never understood what you asked them about..)
