This is not a "one-size fits all" issue, so I encourage you to get your information from AAdvantage Customer Service directly if you have expired VIP certificates. For example, if you qualified as a new EP member in December but your VIP certificates were issued incorrectly with an expiration date of 1/31/02, by all means return them; they will be replaced with ones that expire in 2003.
