I would suggest traveling with a small bottle of Purell, which is a waterless way of sanitizing your hands. It's basically just alcohol with aloe in a bottle.

Unlike scigirl, I don't find purell to be very harsh. It entirely depends on skin sensitivity, I'm sure.

My experience has been that your hands inherently get dry while traveling and that the extra aloe (from purell) compensates somewhat.

Arguably, you could just bring your own soap for an aircraft. However, with purell, you also have the opportunity to keep your hands clean throughout your travels.
