Stuck at Heathrow

I'm stuck at Heathrow ok, technically i'm not stuck (yet)

I was on a flight tomorrow a.m. to the states that got cancelled this afternoon; was given the option of Sat a.m. in J or tomorrow on a different flight in Y; I took tomorrow as I really want to be home on Saturday but is feeling more and more like a mistake as I'm not confident that they will lift the ban by the time my flight takes off based on what I'm seeing on the tube here at LHR.

Quite a bit of a scene checking in at the Sheraton Heathrow; that was one long line with everyone on the phone trying to rebook

I think there is some sort of announcement at 8:00 p.m. GMT on the status of the airspace which is only 19 minutes from now
