Melissa - the most important change is that they require flat 12,500 points for every night. It's much better than it was in the RBC Program. Also, Ramada MBNA VISA, which used to give 3 points for every $ charged, gives 2.5 points for every $ charged elsewhere, and 5 points for charges in Ramada. They have more info on their web site
http://www.ramada.com. There is also a survey there that gives 1,000 points for filling out.
QL - while I agree with you in general, there is one location which has pretty decent Ramada property, and for which I collect my points (mostly from credit card use rather than stays) - Ramada Fishermans Wharf in SF.
Also - it might be more appropriate to have this discussion under Ramada topic.
