I was just pondering how many people will be adversely affected by cashless cabins. Most people I know have credit cards, but it got me thinking, and I realised I do know a few people who do not have credit cards, only debit, which are not accepted. My mother rarely uses a credit card, and doesn't normally carry it with her all the time, and I know a few of her friends the same generation as her don't have credit cards at all (the attitudes to credit cards seems to have changed a lot, we think nothing of a credit card, but people of my mother's generation see it as unclean somehow!) Purchasing an onboard cafe voucher beforehand is all well and good, but presumably you also need a credit card to do this?
