Same thing happened to me, and at first I thought it was yet another "de-valuation" of the whole HH program. Since it seems to be widespread and AmExp knows about it, I'll wait until my next statement to see if it gets rectified.
I have been considering upgrading to the Surpass card (AmExp certainly has been relentless with the e-mails and direct mail pieces to persuade me). Now I'm hesitant to do so while these types of issues are occuring.
