I am trying to book a one-way from CGO-PEK. I had no problem doing a one-way PEK-CGO at the China Southern web site using an USA VISA but no luck as reported above with the Air China web site.
It would be easier to either walk-up and buy a ticket on the spot at CGO, or use
www.ctrip.com or
www.travelzen.com with your foreign credit card. Hell's bells, I'm in China and even I don't deal with the Air China web site.
