I already understood the spending pattern has to do with it. Understandable, but at the same time it gives not a very positive impression.
You most likely spent more than I and do not get the promotion.
I need to spent minimum 1800 before I can get extra miles, while another has a minimum limit of 100 euros. So the biggest benefits for the 'worst' clients of AMEX. And AMEX help desk is giving different answers. Not very professional.
