There are several ferry services between Hong Kong and Macau. Turbojet's jetfoil and foilcat between HK Island and Macau are always smooth, but they also use catamarans that are subject to surface condition. Same for CotaiJet and New World First Ferry's all-catamarans services.

Turbojet and Cotaijet ferries are 24 hours. Turbojet is more frequent, but Cotaijet is more convenient for the Venetian.
