Thanks for the suggestion, FrequentFlyerYYZ. The flying with pets forum has a sticky that indicates questions about specific airlines should be posted in the airline forum. So I'll leave my original post the way it is for now, but will definitely keep an eye on that forum too. I'm still hoping someone here in the AC forum has some info to share, as folks in the other forum are less likely to have Canada-specific experience.
