Yeah that map is confusing. But note at the bottom it says that all the cities shown are served by "United, United Express, and Code Share partners". It should say "or" code share partners.
So it's really impossible to tell from that map where United metal actually flies. That's what FT is for!
so I don't want to drag this out too much but I believe the best way for me to do this is to use 55,000 miles for a free ticket to London...stay three days and enjoy. Fly Delta to NBO and stay two weeks round trip between the two is $900 minus $100 for 10,000 Delta miles. So $800 total flight costs for 2 1/2 weeks in Europe and Africa. Not too bad in my opinion...Other option is to pay 1400$ from ATL to NBO via Delta. I'll need to weight the cost/miles numbers. May be cheaper to just pay the 1400 instead of burning 65,000 miles and still pay 800 cash.
