10000 doesn´t sound that high considering that Canadian AMEX Centurion members get Plat status for free and AMEX Plat members get it after staying just 5 nights.

Wonder how many FPC Plats qualify by staying 30 nights / 10stays?

Anyhow assuming Plat embers stay an average of 15 nights per year, this would mean that on average about 6 Plats are staying at each Fairmont property each night, though I guess numbers greatly differ, I guess the Masai Mara safari club only gets a dozen Plats per year while I wouldn´t be surprised if more than 50 Plats were staying in Hawaii just over Christmas/New Year.
