I just received my Hilton Surpass AMEX card statement and noticed errors in the way that bonus spend categories (Cable, gas, grocery, cell, cable, home phone, etc) are calcualted. I noticed tjhat I received no bonus points for phone, grocery or cable even though I had charges for each of these. Furthermore, I charged at these same vendors last month and recieved bonus points. The AMEX rep was helpful and opened an investigation, but I wanted to get the word out to fellow Flyertalk HHonors members that they may want to check their statement.
