On a recent night flight, I went - briefly - to the loo, only to find someone had taken my seat. Not only that, but she was going through the things I had placed in the seat pocket!

It was a half empty flight, and everyone had a row of 3 seats to themselves. Most passengers were sleeping, laid out flat. No need for anyone to move places. When I told this person "I think you're in my seat", she gave me a long answer, about how she had tried to book that particular seat on-line, but couldn't get it. With a very bad grace, she moved back to the empty row behind me and proceeded to mutter for about 10 minutes.

I thought she was nuts, but still checked that none of my possessions had disappeared in her possession. They hadn't, but it still seems weird to me.
