Were you talking about the Shadows Restaurant on top Of Montgomery Street on Telegraph Hill? In the mid to late 1960s, my brother use to drive our father to work at the Shadows Restaurant kitchen in the morning, and I use to fetch my father after work in the evenings. Did you know the Chef and Cooks were All Filipinos? My father was the First Cook. The Chef Pol Nepomuceno, my father Pete Liban and another cook unknown name posed in a Photo with Actor Rod Taylor in the Shadows Kitchen about 1963 before or after Rod Talor was starring in Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds". Some of the scenes were filmed in the S.F. Bay Area.
