Another ^ for Katz. I am a big fan of Keens and have taken a few friends there and they have loved the steak (usually go for the porterhouse). I also think Peter Lugers has that classic NY steakhouse feel to it.

Most of my friend's that visit NYC usually request to go to Lombardi's. The pizza is good and certainly historic (the place, not the pizza).
