I am considering the following award itinerary this summer (in Y):

LAX-HKG-Perth-Adelaide-Brisbane-Sydney-LAX

It seems the oneworld award is my best bet, although a combination of CX and QF awards is a possibility (with returning to LAX via HKG). Does anybody have any experience with a routing of this sort, and if so what is the best 'bang for the buck' (or mile as it may be...)?
