I have been able to get Low BE tickets for a flight to Frankfurt (FRA) in August. My preferred final destination, however, is Provence, France.

Geneva, Switzerland; Lyon France or Nice are possible destinations for a flight from Frankfurt. Since there weren't any good connections to these cities at the Low rates through AMS on KLM or CDG on Air France and the miles for a direct flight to Nice on Delta is off the charts, I am contemplating buying a ticket on Lufthansa to one of the above cities. The times between the arrival and departures are between 1.25 hrs and 1.75 hours.

If anyone is familiar with the airport at Frankfurt how much time should I leave for the transfer from Delta to Lufthansa.

Also, I am not worried about the return the the US as we will probably arrive in Frankfurt the night before but I am worried about missing the connection if the plane from JFK is late coming in to FRA.
