In my case, early reset is my advantage. There is no decrese of membership year. My membership years start at exactly same months past 5 or more years with early resets.
Yes the early reset works to my advantage as well, as i dont not need these miles for the current membership as i have already requalified and would not reach the next level either with what i will earn this time, so this would mean less miles for me to accumulate for next year
