just spent 6 night here on point breaks. hotel is a bit far out of town but it's easy enough to get there with the tram outside and the metro 5-10 minute walk away. most trams and the metro shut down at midnight but you can take the "night tram" number 51 from midnight until 5 am. it drops you off at the metro stop, then you have to walk the 5-10 minutes....it a residential area so there are no worries about safety. and i would suggest waiting for the tram since i took the 3 mile taxi ride back to the hotel on the first night in town and it cost me 400 kr (about $28 for a 5 minute ride!!!)

the building is pretty strange since it was built during the communist era and looks the part...but rooms are fairly nice and you can get a nice view of the city if you get high floor facing that direction. staff also was very helpful.

only drawbacks are distance and lack of any kind of platinum perk on the point breaks rate....so no, club level, no room upgrade, no fruit basket,...not even a late check out(...was told hotel was full booked and it wasn't possible) which was a bit annoying...
