I think if DL/UA introduce their superior full-flat J seats for this route,they can steal full fare customers from AA.

I don't know about DL but I know UA has better seats in J. AA has a much better soft product, it's a widebody plane which some people prefer and it has the most frequencies between JFK-LAX. DL keeps trying but JFK-LAX is a AA and UA stronghold.
