I believe it was posted earlier this year that AC had applied to the DOT to change all the aircraft registrations for the CP metal fleet to AC's authority, and that this would be done sometime in March. Could be for that reason, or may be effective April 1st, and maybe the ATC officer was going off shift for the weekend and this would have been his last CP flight to control. In any case, another sad milestone, and probably the last official vestage of Canadian Airlines International. A Fly Girl informed me that they expect a ruling soon from the arbitrator on staff intermingling which will address the long contentious seniority issue among the unions. Then after some breathing space, the actual merging of crew lists later this summer. I'll let her post any details, since this is still speculative and has not been confirmed. In anycase, Cam, I trust the flight was one you'll remember with a certain degree of fondness and nostalgia.
