That's an accusation you certainly read alot of these days. Is this a symptom of the new "class warfare" going on at security checkpoints? Since the screeners seem to have complete freedom to arbitrarily declare anything they like as a "dangerous item", how many pieces of jewelery, etc., are winding up being taken home by them?
BTW, a laser pointer can give you a headache, but that's about it.
