Pretty sure these are the shortest mainline flights out of each hub:

ATL - BHM (134 miles, daily MD-88)
MSP - DLH (144 miles, daily DC-9-30); RST used to have this title until not too long ago
DTW - aforementioned GRR (FNT used to have this until a couple of years ago)
JFK - BOS (187 miles, daily MD-88)
SLC - BOI (290 miles, 2x MD-90)
MEM - LIT (129 miles, daily A319)
CVG - ATL (373 miles, many 737/MD-80)
