At the advice of others here, I tried it. Found it perfectly nice. Some space for storing your laptop bag / briefcase **BEHIND** your seat (since there's no seat in front of you to store it under) (and obviously ample overhead bin space too). Full recline, infinite legroom. Few enough folks in cabin that crossing over is not a problem.
